| Glastron Carlson The 23ft Scimitar came with a 260hp Chevy Mercruiser 350 V-8 with Alpha I/O drive and would easily reach speeds just over 60 mph. This boat has been modified just a little by the installation of a high performance 2000 Chevy Vortec 350 producing over 360 hp coupled with a late model Gen II Alpha drive. We are expecting a top speed of about 70 mph. I have just recently installed a new floor new carpet, rebuilt all the seats frames upholstery, and a fresh gold metalic polyurethane finish |
| This picture was taken the first ime we too the boat out on the lake, thats my sweetheart, her screen the GreyFox, but most just call her the Fox. Last month was our 38th anniversary we took the Scimitar across the lake to RedRock,just had to do a a Fly-By before we docked, went in and had a Great ribeye dinner with our son and his wife. |
This is my Mom, she just turned 84 years of age, she drove the boat 35 mph on lake Stanley Draper, near Oklahoma City. She
used to pull my Dad sking on this lake in our old 1959 YellowJacket. This is the first time she's been on the lake in 44 years,
